At Ezekiel & Stearns we stand behind the quality of our craftsmanship and will make things right if you are not satisfied with your purchase. We believe that we can we can work together with our customers to make every purchase a positive experience. Each piece is carefully inspected before leaving our shop, but in the event you are not satisfied with your merchandise, simply follow these instructions:
If you are unsatisfied with a returnable product once it arrives, simply contact us by e-mail or phone within (five) 5 days of delivery and we will authorize a return. All returns must be authorized in advance by Ezekiel and Stearns. Products or parts must be in new condition. Assembled, used, or modified shipments are non-returnable. Products or parts must be returned in their original packaging. If the original packaging is not available, substitute packaging that adequately protects the product is acceptable. Reduced credit or no credit will be allowed on returned products that incur damage because of inadequate packaging. Products or parts returned for any reason other than manufacturer defects or carrier damage noted at time of delivery are subject to a 25% restocking fee and shipping charges incurred fee. All returns are subject to final count and inspection. Shipping charges are nonrefundable regardless if the original shipping was free.

Made to Order or Custom or Finished to Order items are non-returnable. Made to Order or Finished to Order items are made specifically for your order. You must contact us within 24 hours of placing your order if you wish to cancel. No order cancellations can be made after 24 hours. All Made to Order or Finished to Order items are charged in advance.
Please Note: Once an item has been prepared and scheduled to ship (typically 1-5 business days before actual pick up), the order cannot be cancelled and becomes subject to our return policy. If you refuse an order, our return policy also applies.
Ezekiel and Stearns reserves the right to send a replacement item or replacement part for defective or damaged items. Damaged items must be noted at the time of delivery and defective items must be reported within five (5) consecutive days of receipt of the product. If you decide you do not want parts or a replacement unit, the remaining items and parts can be returned under our standard return policy. If a product arrives and is the incorrect item due to an error made by Ezekiel and Stearns, and if it cannot be corrected with a full replacement or replacement parts, Ezekiel and Stearns will be responsible for the cost of returning the item or items.

Inspection and Acceptance:
You must make any claims for damage, shortage, or errors at the time your merchandise is delivered to you. If you do not make a claim at that time, you will be deemed to have accepted the products and you cannot revoke your acceptance. After such acceptance, you will have no right to reject the products for any reason.
Please take your time and inspect all the furniture upon delivery and denote any damages or defects on the delivery ticket (bill of lading), as it is much easier to have these problems corrected when denoted on the delivery ticket. PLEASE DENOTE ANY DAMAGES OR DEFECTS ON DELIVERY SLIP EVEN IF YOU KEEP AN ITEM. If your delivery is taking place during our normal business hours M-F 8:00AM-5:00PM CT please call us and we will help you determine what to do. (contact number located on shipping document)
* Natural flaws and imperfections in wood add to a piece’s beauty and charm and should not be viewed as damages or defects.
The wood & stain swatch imagery represented on this website has been provided to give you the best possible visual representation.
While every effort has been made to supply you with the most accurate photographic representation of our products, Internet technology limitations prevent us from guaranteeing an exact color match. These limitations may include, but are not limited to: variations in individual user’s monitor settings, calibration settings, color print settings, and image color compression. We cannot guarantee that your pieces will be an exact match to the colors represented on this website.
Occasionally, the furniture may experience minor damage during shipment.
In the event that your merchandise arrives damaged or defective, please send pictures to email@example.com and we will send a replacement part right away.
* We will need pictures of packaging and the damaged part.
* We purchase shipping insurance for your shipment, so if your item is damaged in shipping, the shipping service will pick up the damaged item. Items must be replaced back in their original packaging. Once we receive the damage item back, we will either repair or replace.
*Claims against manufacturer defects must be made within 90 days of purchase. We will repair or replace the items for free. If you need the item shipped, purchaser will be responsible for shipping.
All items are pre-assembled at our shop to ensure quality, and then disassembled before shipping. Shipping items disassembled or partially disassembled greatly reduces the cost of shipping and the risk of your item being damaged in transit. Items are shipped with assembly instruction and hardware. Customer is responsible for assembly. Some items may come partially assembled for customer convenience.
Custom orders begin production immediately upon order and are built to your specifications. They cannot be cancelled, changed, returned or refunded at any time.
Clearance items are considered final-sale items and cannot be returned
-We make each piece by hand, and when making anything by hand, there will be minor imperfections. Items may vary by a fraction of an inch.
-There may be errors in the prices, descriptions or images of certain merchandise, and we must reserve the right to restrict orders of those items.
-Real wood expand and contracts seasonally all sizes are exact when they are crafted however your piece may expand or contract slightly.
THERE ARE NO EXPRESS WARRANTIES OR ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE THAT APPLY TO THIS SALE. Ezekiel & Stearns IS NOT LIABLE FOR DAMAGES OF ANY SORT INCLUDING INCIDENTAL AND CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
